Unbundled legal services should not be confused with automated legal document assembly or blank legal forms for sale. Unbundling means the lawyer guides the client through the limited legal process and instructs the client on handling certain tasks without the lawyer being involved in all aspects of the legal matter. For example, the client might execute and file a document at the courthouse or attend a hearing alone after the attorney has unbundled the review of select pleadings as an individual service.
The practice of unbundling is not appropriate for every client or every legal problem. However, when handled correctly, the practice provides greater access to justice for individuals who otherwise might not seek full-service legal representation in divorce and family law matters.
Unbundled Legal Services Are Right For Some Clients
Unbundled legal services work best for individuals who have successfully gone through mediation and already have a Memorandum of Understanding that was prepared by the mediator. If you and your spouse would like to move forward and have the court recognize that agreement as the final negotiated settlement in your case and you don't want to spend any more money on attorney's fees, you can purchase unbundled services from me, attorney Sarina Gianna, at the Law Office of Sarina Gianna, LLC.
Unbundled services include using proprietary online forms to simply, efficiently and cost-effectively have your legal documents prepared online and reviewed by me for accuracy to ensure the matter is properly finalized.
